Etre goth, c'est tout simplement écouter de la musique goth. Il n'y a pas de liens avec la littérature ou je ne sais quoi. Certes, les gothiques aiment souvent lire, s'évader dans l'art...Mais tout cela est relatif à l'individu, ce n'est pas une règle. D'ailleurs, il me semble qu'au début, jamais Siouxsie & the banshees aient été qualifiés de goth. On parlais alors de post-punk, de new-wave ou autres, mais le mot "gothique" a été inventé par un journaliste pour qualifier la musique de Bauhaus. Donc pas besoin d'être en "dépression constante" comme j'ai pû le voir sur certains blogs, et encore moins "d'état d'esprit goth" (dans ce cas là, ça serait une secte, or ce n'est pas le cas). Je n'ai pas la prétention d'avoir vécu les années 80 ni même d'être déjà allé au Batcave, mais voilà ma perception des choses. En clair, si vous voyez un gars (ou une fille) qui écoute du métal et qui se dit goth, ba il ne l'est pas, tout simplement.

Autant de bon groupes qui ont fait leurs preuves! Plus le temps passe et moins j'accroche aux nouvelles formations pour me tourner vers les anciennes...La musique n'est plus la même, tout est devenu une question d'argent et il faut produire le plus vite possible...Et cela ce ressent cruellement dans les nouveaux groupes! Il y a tout de même parfois quelques bons groupes qui restent inconnus car non signés par un grand label...Dommage!
